Fighter Jet Rides – Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to fly a fighter?

Our flights are available from USD 2,399.00. See our jet flights price list for a current overview.

What is the jet flights booking procedure?

Booking a flight in a fighter is straightforward. First, you contact us through the jet flight contact form and tell us where you’d like to fly – or you get a flight voucher as a gift. Scheduling a flight is easy and the availability is very good.

Do you issue flight vouchers / present boxes or gift packages?

Certainly. Many of the flights we arrange are gifts – increasingly popular. We issue a nice flight voucher, so you have something physical to hand over to the happy recipient of the flight present. Gift vouchers can be bought here. The vouchers are flexible, even the flight location can be chosen or changed free of charge.

How long in advance do I need to book my jet fighter flight?

Generally speaking: The earlier, the better. However, we are trying our best to always make a flight available for you. In the US we usually can arrange flights on short notice. The MiG-29 supersonic flights in Russia require a sharp 60 days advance booking to obtain access permission to the airbase which is situated in a restricted area.

What are the requirements to fly a fighter jet?

The requirements are the same for all jets we arrange flights in:

  • You need to be of sound health – which means most of all, no problems with your heart or spine
  • You shouldn’t be taller than 1.95 m / 6.4 feet or heavier than 130 kg / 280 lbs for the L-39. If you are close to these figures – please contact us before booking a flight
  • You need to be 18 years of age or have written declaration by your parents who must allow you to fly a fighter
  • You need to sign some paperwork (varies depending on the military jet)

How much time does the Jet Fighter Experience take?

The experience takes about 3 hours. This includes the flight itself and all necessary instruction and preparation.

How about health issues?

If you’re not suffering from health problems in everyday life, you’ll most likely qualify for flying a jet. If in doubt – a doctor of your choice should sign a medical check-up before flying. Most crucial parts of your body include the heart and the spine. After we receive your booking request, we’ll send you the document to sign. For the MiG-29 – seeing a doctor before is mandatory.

I wear glasses or lenses. Can I also fly a fighter jet?

Yes! Many of the people flying jets with us wear glasses even during the flight. That’s no problem at all.

Where are you based?

Flights are available from four different airfields in the USA. Each location is situated close to the metropolitan centers of either Los Angeles, Houston TX, Tampa FL or New York. Additionally, we offer flights in Toronto/Canada, several European countries and Russia. If you are interested in a European flight, contact us for an updated list of flight locations and jets.

Can I fly a jet without being a Pilot myself?

Usually yes – but it depends on the location. Contact us to find out whether or not your flight can be approved.
